With early voting beginning April 15, the future of Pre-K for All is on the ballot. In 2019, 1,000 prekindergarten seats were in jeopardy of disappearing. Community leaders, elected officials and families united to ensure that didn’t happen, making a promise to its youngest residents.
First 8 Memphis (F8M) was born from that promise, carefully designed to bring coherence, quality and accountability to Shelby County’s early childhood education system.
